Testimonials
I have had the opportunity to observe the COVID-19 processing and testing protocols using the 7500 Fast Dx & KingFisher system at Sinochips Diagnostics. The staff are impressive to watch as they process the large volume of specimens received daily by following the set processes in place. The skills of the technicians combined with their friendly, team-oriented, quality drive approach is remarkable.

I recently had PGx testing done through Sinochips Diagnostics, and I can say the online portal my Dr. showed me was amazing. I suffer from cervical spondylosis and vertebral compression, and I wanted to make sure I was getting the most out of my muscle relaxers and pain medications. Although I don’t take them every day, when I need them, it’s just nice to know that I’m on the best ones for me and my condition. I also found it interesting that my results from the cardiology part of the Comprehensive Panel showed a high likelihood of possible side effects from a statin that my mother had just been prescribed. And yes, she had a negative reaction, and they had to change the prescription. Since it is a one-time test, I’m set for the future if I ever need drugs for other diagnoses. I highly recommend PGx testing, and Sinochips Diagnostics. Everyone should know what drugs are going to work best with their genes.

As an older but still very active “weekend warrior”, I experience my fair share of aches and pains. My doctor recently suggested I explore a PGx test, and he recommended I look at one from a company based here in KC called Sinochips Diagnostics. Although it wasn’t covered by insurance since I didn’t have “medical necessity”, it confirmed that most opiates just aren’t that effective for me (which is exactly what I’ve experienced after previous accidents and injuries). Turns out, I’m not a normal metabolizer of some of the most common opioids and analgesics, so I’ll probably get better outcomes now that we know which ones to go to.
